The Wrangler is located just a short drive from downtown Nelsonville, Ohio. This cabin is a suitable stay for a small family, hunters, ladies gathering place or a romantic couple’s getaway.

Smoke Rise Ranch Resort Nestled in the rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio, Smoke Rise offers guests an opportunity to experience the adventures of a cowboy lifestyle. Family owned and operated, Smoke Rise Ranch offers professional horse training inclusive of a certified select, John Lyons trainer/clinician (Brent Semingson). Horse sales and rental for hour and day-long trail rides. They present and host clinics. As well- provide individual and group lessons. Both indoor and outdoor arena’s offer a place for horse related events such as team penning and sorting, cutting, roping, ranch horse competitions and gymkhana activities. They offer cattle drives and guided trail rides. For guest to enjoy… The property has a host of features from rock bluffs to lush green bottom land and is home to an abundance of wildlife. There are ponds to fish, swim and water your horse and trails to hike or ride. For those who simply wish to lounge, enjoy their heated pool (seasonal) scheduled dinner and dance and/or a campfire.
Please do not smoke in our cabin, we prefer that you smoke outside. There are ash trays to utilize. Please dispose of butts appropriately.
With previous notification, the Wrangler Cabin may accommodate pets. This must previously be discussed with management! Guests are financially responsible for any damages incurred by smoking, pets, horses etc.
Hot Tub is serviced between each rental. Please shower prior to hot tub use. Excessive cleaning and use of filters due to oils etc. will be an extra charge.
One tank of propane gas for the grill will be provided per rental. Please be certain to close valve when not in use.
